Training

We run three types of classes – foundation, progressive and private.

Experienced students from recognised schools may attend the progressive classes but are advised to take the foundation classes unless they already have a good understanding of the Bolognese terminology and mechanics.

The foundation classes are not to be confused with a beginners class. These are used to drill the movements and principles of the art and should be attended on a regular basis even by more advanced students.

Finally, our private classes are recommended for students who wish to progress to more advanced levels. In these classes, the instructor will give undivided atention to the student with the aim of working on minor fixes, on enhancing individual strengths, and on combating weaknesses. We suggest that such students should have private tuition on a regular, if not frequent basis.
