The ‘Siberian Brawler’ by Viacheslav Mishurin

Based on an original piece from the Ostrov-Grad Sviyazhsk museum, this is a copy of a 16th century Siberian war axe by celebrated armourer Viacheslav Mishurin.

Lavishly etched with floral patterns, hatchwork and wave designs.

The scrolling latin script on the axe face reads ‘Aut Vincere aui Mori’.

This work of art is provided unsharpened but with a fully realised edge.
